MAY 2010

Hello everyone.  I hope this day finds you and your family in good health and that you survived the Spring Fundraiser, which can only be classified as a big success that reaped big bucks.  This event was a success because of all individuals on the Survivors Board.  Ken and Carmen Melkowski, for their contact and photographing this event; Greg for keeping law and order at the door; Steve, for just being there.  For the names not posted, nothing personal, you were there and everybody pitched in, which makes our Survivor's Team proud.  However, a special thank you needs to go out to Pat Johnson, his wife, and the Johnson family.  Pat Johnson, who as chairman of the fund raising committee, took on this assignment with great enthusiasm and delivered the goods above and beyond what the other board members would have imagined.  KUDOS to you Pat!!!

On May 11th at 1800 hours there will be a Police Survivor's Board meeting at Moretti's on Jackson Blvd.  This will be our last meeting until September.  Have a safe summer!

DECEMBER 2009

Hello Everyone,

Happy Holidays to each and every one of you and your families. We had our meeting over the last few days and the following Officers were slated and elected into Office for the next two years….drum roll please….

President Mike Lappe

Vice President Sol Karadjias

Secretary Carmen Malkowski

Recording Secretary Cedric Brumley

Treasurer Steven C. Tyler

Fundraising Officer Pat Johnson

Internal Relations Officer Ken Malkowski

Public Relations Officer Matt Koman

Sergeant at Arms Greg Sandlund

These changes will take effect on 01 January 2010 and the term will run until 31 December 2012 .

When we started this Organization, we had a simple vision in mind…to reach out to Officers who were seriously injured in the Line of Duty. We wanted to let them know that they were not alone and that there were other Officers who may have had a similar type of injury…and survived. The physical trauma can last a lifetime, but equally and sometimes even more devastating, it can be the emotional trauma, when left unaddressed; that creates a roadblock that can keep someone isolated and alone with their pain. We saw an opportunity to ease that pain…we took a chance…and with a great deal of support, we created this Organization. We gained more support over the years, from other organizations and people who believed in our cause. I always found it amazing that people were willing to give of their time, without any selfish motives, to help with an open heart when it was needed.

I would have to say that my only regret was that at times, we have missed the opportunity to help an Officer, either due to unawareness, or just not being able to give enough. Time has changed our Organization and now many issues that we did address behind closed doors are more out in the open. We also wanted to keep what we were doing…guarded in a way. We always felt that the recovery process was an intimate experience that should be treated with respect and patience, every person recovers at different moments in their own time. We never wanted to exploit anyone’s situation or to put this organization at the mercy of someone else’s rules. We stayed true to that core belief.

To those who have over the years Served on Our Board, visited an Injured Officer, shared their experiences with other Officers, attended and supported a Return To The Scene visit, helped with a Fundraiser, you have fulfilled a kindness to your fellow human beings that will never be forgotten. You have given of yourselves, a part that has been graciously accepted by those in need, a kindness that can never be given justice through words. In the eyes of God, you have given of yourself, a part of him…or her.

It has been my Honor to be a part of this organization. It has been my Honor to know the people who have stood with me as we tried to help. It has been my Honor to be with two of our Founding Members who have passed away…Hank Davis and Joe Sosnowski. Please remember them and their families over this Holiday Season and forever, because without them, we would not have become who we are…The Police Survivors.

I would like to extend my warmest regards to the new Board. They are a Great bunch of people who share and support the ideas that this organization was founded upon. I will always in some way be a part of this organization, for the next two years as the Treasurer, after that…who knows…only time.

Thank You again for your support, for believing and wanting to be a part of this family. Hopefully the future holds Peace and Safety for all of us.

With My Warmest Regards,

Steven C. Tyler

NOVEMBER 2009
Greetings Survivors,

I know that it’s been awhile since I’ve written a newsletter, but I hope that this finds everyone well…

We have given out two more Grants since the last newsletter and are in the process of formulating the new Board for the 2010-2012 years. Mike Lappe will take charge of the Organization as the President, Sol Karadajias will take the Vice President position, and both of these people have been original founding members of this Organization and are extremely capable of carrying out the Goals and Mission of this Organization. I will take over as the Treasurer of the Organization, maintaining a role in the organization as well. The other positions are still being considered and filled by qualified members. Overall, we are anticipating continued success with assisting Injured Officers and their families.

Just to let you know…we do have T-Shirts and Pins available for sale…(Forgive me Paul…I will drop your shirts off real soon). You can e-mail us, visit the website at thepolicesurvivors.com, contact me…or Pat Johnson our Fundraising Officer to buy any of these items and it would be of great help if anyone wanted to sell some of these items for the organization. We have been giving out mostly $1,000.00 Grants over the last 4 years without any substantial income, so any help that we can get, will be greatly appreciated.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season, especially Thanksgiving, where we all can take a moment, find a moment of peace and quietly reflect upon those special people who have touched our lives…some through a kind word or gesture, others with love that is more precious than life. Let’s also take a moment to remember our Fallen Brothers and Sisters, who have left in their wake, a void that may take a lifetime to fill. Their families who will feel the burden of an emptiness that perhaps a silent prayer may help to fill. Share your thoughts and give Thanks.

I will send another newsletter before the end of this year. If you have any questions or comments, please by all means let me know. I wish each and every one of you the very Best…I have made friends here that will last many lifetimes. It has been an Honor serving you and the support to keep this organization alive since 1996 is amazing.

I wanted to take a moment to let you know that one of our founding members, Joe Sosnowski passed away on 21 September 2009. Joe had a thunderous laugh that would shake the World, a Heart kissed by God and a Family who’s Pride and Love in Joe could never be matched. One of God’s Soldiers…he is missed by many.

Best Regards,

Steve Tyler

JULY 2009
Hello Everyone,
Hope everyone and their families are safe and enjoying the warmer weather.  We did do a return to the scene visitation recently and found it to be very inspirational.  Seems like the Officer, who was severely wounded, was assisted by two great citizens who comforted and rendered first aid to the Officer.  This Officer was concentrating on surviving and that did not leave a lot of room to take everything in…but when we returned to the scene and took our time, it appears that the kindness of these citizens went beyond and above what could have been asked for.  Once again, I would like to thank Matt Koman, Bartell Keithley, Athena Mullen and James Brodnick for their understanding and kindness in assisting with this Officer’s recovery.
Recently, there was a Chicago Police Officer who was critically injured responding to a Burglary In Progress call. We will present a Grant to him and his family this week and offer any assistance that we can.
Well, I was in the process of writing this letter, only to find out this morning that yet another Chicago Police Officer has been shot and killed in the Line of Duty.  Tactical Officer Valadez from the Chicago Police Department’s Englewood Tactical Unit was shot and killed while responding to a Shots Fired call.  Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family, friends and our Brothers and Sisters in Blue.  At times like this…there are no words that can fill the void that this Officer has left with the passing of his life.
We are also in the process of addressing…or maybe even participating in a Chicago Police Department video, where we will have Police Survivors who have sustained serious injuries responding to In-Progress calls.  If we can address these issues with real Officers and the impact of how these accidents affected their lives, maybe we can have a positive influence on future responses.  Real life…beats a book.
The Board will have a formal meeting in June…we will be discussing the direction of the organization at that time. When we started this organization, we felt that a lot of issues were not being addressed to assist seriously injured Officers.  Over the years, a lot of these issues were brought to light and many Departments changed their policies and put programs into effect that now assist Officers in need.  We still perform many services with one on one visitations, addressing future Officers, financial assistance and assisting with return to the scene visitations.  We just want to take a serious look at what we have done, what is still needed and where we are going.  We understand and fully respect that the recovery process is a very private matter that sometimes can only be understood by someone who has experienced a similar trauma.  We constantly stress that when something horrific has happened to someone, no matter how bad it is, it is a part of their lives..their history, and not to be ignored or wished away.
Stay Safe…..Got A Response…Let Me Know.

Steve Tyler

APRIL-MAY 2009

Hello Everyone,

I hope that everything is going well. We have made another Grant to an Injured Officer in need. We moved our Office to 5215 South Archer Avenue with the reason of cutting our rent payments in half. We reduced our financial commitment for the internet and phone in half…deleting our fax line…and commitment to a dual line.
We are seriously looking at restructuring the organization.  When we started we felt that here were three things that we felt were greatly needed.  The first was one on one visitations, returning to the scene visitations and outside professional Counseling services that we felt were important to help in an Officer’s recovery process.
As the years have gone by, we have done these things and eventually Police Departments have adopted services that mirror what we have done. We have looked closely at what we have accomplished and all indeed have felt that our input has had a positive impact on many Department’s view on how to deal with the Trauma that Officer’s and their families have gone through.
We need to grow, to leave some things behind that are indeed being addressed.  We are going to have a meeting at the end of this month and explore as many ideas as possible on how we need to proceed to help injured Officers.
If you have any ideas, please do let us know.  We are open to any and all ideas and we will discuss them at length. Please write us back, call us, do whatever you would like to help us address this situation.
At this time there are two things that seem to be important and of great value.  These are Financial Grants and Counseling services.
The Grants are given with no expectation of repayment. This is of great importance because families do struggle and I believe it does get in the way as an added stressor in an Officer’s recovery. The second is the Counseling services. There is no time frame when it comes to an individual’s time table for recovery. We are thinking that streamlining our services at this time may be more beneficial to the organization as well as the Officer’s who are in need of our help.
That being said, we are open to discussing our other services, such as Scene visitations and One on One visitations.  These can complement our financial assistance programs.
If we continue to provide outside professional Counseling services, these would also come in a Grant form, releasing any liability to our organization.
We need you input at this time. We are exploring the brochure to obtain outside financial assistance that would benefit wounded Officers. I appreciate the people who did respond and will be in touch with them shortly as we work on the brochure.
We need to make changes, the way things are being addressed to wounded Officers are changing, we would like to stay one step ahead and continue to be proactive with our assistance. We are at a crossroad here and need your input into what direction we need to go.
What would you like to see the Police Survivors organization provide to wounded Officers and their families?
Are you in favor of the Grants provided to Officers?
Where would you like to see this organization in 5 years?
What would be the most single beneficial service you think that the Police Survivor’s could provide?

Okay…for now…that’s about it….think about this and let us know.  It would be greatly appreciated.

Steve Tyler

FEBRUARY-MARCH 2009

Hello Everyone,
It’s been awhile and we have some news that concerns all of our members. We had an Office Visitation to assist with the recovery process of the Chicago Fire Investigator. Those that attended were Matt Koman, Mike Lappe, Bartell Keithley, David Garcia, Jim Brodnick, and Paul Lopez Much thanks for all their help and support!
The latest update we have regarding Gina Dwyer is that she has been suffering from a fluctuating fever and has been transferred from the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute to a long term care facility until the fevers are addressed and then will return to the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute to continue her therapy. There will be a full fundraiser for her that is in the works, as soon as I know more I will pass all the information along. Keep her in your prayers.
Andre Van Vegten has had more surgery and is at home recovering. Unfortunately, Andre may have to have a very serious operation shortly that will change his life forever…please keep him in your prayers….
Ken and Carmen Malkowski’s daughter, Allesandra, is in the hospital with a severe Upper Respiratory Infection, it seems like when it rains it pours….we wish her a speedy recovery….
We are moving….yes we are moving our Office to 5215 South Archer Avenue, 60632, in Chicago. The new number is 312-718-2632. Please make a note of it. The reason for the move is that we will save 50 percent on our rent and we felt that during these rough times, it’s the right thing to do. We should be done with the move by the end of March. Our website WWW.ThePoliceSurvivors.com is still up and running. If you have any feedback….please let us know.
We are talking about having maybe a mini fundraiser at the FOP Hall. Our Fun Fundraising Officer Pat Johnson is currently working on it….as well as maybe getting us some T-Shirts with our Logo….to sell. It would be awesome to get all the Survivors and supporters together…we’ll keep you posted. Fun coming soon…we need a BREAK!
We are also going to try to accelerate our response time to an injured Officer. Maybe we can get at least one Officer from each Unit and Department to sign up and notify us. We would in turn be available to give a more immediate financial assistance-package with follow up support to our wounded Officers. If you are interested in representing your Unit-Department….please let us know.
On a sad note….this newsletter is just pretty much a sad one….John Risley, a Police Survivor and strong supporter of this organization passed away. John was involved in a serious car accident responding to a call and suffered massive injuries. John survived and God let him be with his Family and Friends a little longer…but then told him it was time to come home…he is missed by many.  God’s Soldier!
With Best Regards,

Steven C. Tyler

JANUARY 2009

Dear Members,

I hope that the New Year is treating everyone well. We finished the 2008 year with just under $10,000.00 in grants and services to our members. We will definitely have to have some type of Fund raiser this year, so we will keep you informed as to what direction we are going in to accomplish this. Any ideas…please let us know.

On a different note, Vito Ferro and Al Yanagidate have decided to retire from the Board. Believe it or not, this organization can be taxing on our personal lives. We have meetings and issues to address, that at times can be very stressful. I want to personally thank Vito and Al for their hard work and dedication over the years and of course wish them well.

We have changed some of the responsibilities within the Board. Sol Karadjias will be the acting Treasurer and Pat Johnson came on board as the Fund Raising Officer. We will address the other vacancies in the near future.

Some other issues that we are currently addressing at the moment are possibly moving our Office to another site to cut internal expenses. We are also looking at other ways to cut operating expenses. We feel that the need for grants and paying for “Confidential Counseling” services is important and an issue that we do need to stay on top of. If we do hit a certain level of available funds, we will no longer be able to provide these services. I know that a majority of our services are provided to Chicago Police Officers, but when we established this organization, we chartered for the State of Illinois, meaning that we would provide our services to any Peace Officer injured in the Line of Duty in Illinois. We have members in our organization throughout the State.

At times we miss the information regarding an Officer who has been seriously injured. If you know of anyone who would benefit from our services, please let us know. We try to stay within one year of their injuries for assistance, but will address needed issues as they come up.

Member Gina Dwyer, who was also a Board Member, is still recovering from a severe heart attack and will be off of work for a period of time. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. We will keep you updated with information as things progress. We sent her flowers on behalf of the organization and are addressing other issues to help her and her family.

So….any ideas, issues, or questions regarding the organization or the direction we are going in…please let us know. You can call me, or respond through the Website, ThePoliceSurvivors.com and let us know your thoughts, comments or news that you think we need to address.

We have around 100 members, been around since 1996, dispersed over $50,000.00 in grants and funds since we started, addressed probably over 75 recruit classes at the Chicago Police Academy, completed over a dozen scene visitations, paid for private Trauma counseling for our members, made friends that will last a lifetime, seen the good and the bad…are glad that at times we have made a difference after the bad times and we are here to help.

Stay Safe,

NOVEMBER-DECEMBER 2008 Newsletter
From The Police Survivors Board

We Wish You And Your Families A Happy Holiday Season

First of all we would like to Thank everyone for their participation during that last year with Chicago Police Academy Visitations including Matt Koman, Pat Johnson, Cedric Brumley, Kenneth Malkowski, Paul Lopez, and Mike Lappe.
Over the last year we have dispersed about $8,000.00 in grants and may perform two scene visitations. We also had 3 one-on-one visitations and have provided confidential counseling services to Officers in need.
We feel that we are fulfilling this organization’s core beliefs, helping with the recovering of Officers who have been seriously injured in the Line of Duty.
We are also addressing issues that will help us continue to meet our agenda. One main area will be to raise money to continue assisting Officers in need. If there are any members who feel they may be able to contribute their time for a possible series of fund raising events, please let us know. We have distributed over $40,000.00 in Grants that are in non-refundable form. This part of our duties is the heaviest draw and we have to work hard to replenish these resources. These are tough economical times, so that need to assist these Officers also increases. If you would have some spare time and would like to get involved, possibly to be a part of a Fundraising Board, please let us know.
Since the Holiday Season puts a great deal of stress on families, with multiple commitments, we have decided to postpone an open meeting until after the Holidays. I will let you know when we finalize the date.
We would like to extend a sincere Congratulations to Carmen and Ken Malkowski on the birth of their new baby.
So to one and all, and to our Officers who have had their lives taken away, and their families, may Peace be with you….always.

SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER 2008 Newsletter
Hello Survivors,
It's been a little while since I've put out a Newsletter, but I hope that everyone is doing well.

One of our members, Andre Van Vegten, who was paralyzed during a response call, is currently at the Chicago Rehabilitation Institute in Chicago. Andre has been there for over 5 weeks and will remain there for another couple of weeks. I'm sure that he would appreciate any calls or visits from our members. Andre we wish you well.

We have had a sizable contribution from the Estate of Steven Kleineman. This contribution was received in August and will help our organization meet it's financial obligations throughout the next year.

We are constantly updating our Website and do have some merchandise that we are hoping to sell, so if you get a chance, take a look, tell your friends and hopefully, we can continue with our financial commitments

We have had an additional request for a financial grant and will vote on it shortly. We have another Officer who has been injured and will also be requesting a grant. As of this letter, we have dispersed over $7,000.00 in grants this year alone.

On a side note….our Office was broken into. Don't worry; nothing was compromised, stolen or damaged other than the door. It's seems that the object of affection was not in our Office but in the Manager's Office. With the help of Board Member Ken Malkowski and Area 5 Detectives, the offender has been apprehended and charged accordingly.

Mike Lappe and Ken Malkowski presented an Award of Appreciation to the FOP Lodge #7, for their support over the years.

We are requesting you e-mail addresses, so that we can get you your letters sooner and save mailing costs. Please go to the website to update your information.

We will not have a Board meeting this month, but Grants will be discussed and taken care of.

We will have a Holiday get together in December, hope to see everyone there.
Please take good care of your self's and of course your families.

Stay Safe,
Steven C. Tyler

JULY-AUGUST 2008 Newsletter
Greetings Survivors,

Hope everyone is doing well.  We had a Board meeting in June and awarded another financial Grant to a recovering Officer from Byron Illinois. This Officer was injured in the Line of Duty and is going on a full duty disability pension. We wish him and his family well. Since the beginning of this year we have given out 6 grants and are up to date with all financial requests.

We are trying to make changes in the way we deliver the newsletters. We are building a database and trying to send all of our newsletters through e-mail. This would be more cost effective and get the letters out to our members more quickly. In order to do this, we do need updated e-mail addresses from our members, so please take a moment and give us your new or updated e-mail addresses.

We are still working on getting more things updated on the website including items that we will sell to generate revenue. Please check the website; we will have Hats, Mugs and other items for sale on-line soon. We will be planning a fundraiser for next summer and will be asking for volunteers to help us plan and run the event.

We will have another Board meeting in the later part of August, we are taking July off, but will address any issues of importance regarding the organization.

We wish everyone the Best. If you have any ideas or comments, regarding the organization, please contact us through the e-mail addresses or please feel free to contact me at 773-771-9250.

MAY-JUNE 2008 Newsletter
Greetings Survivors,

Hello everyone, hope life is treating everyone well. Those that are recovering from their injuries, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

May was Police Recognition month as everyone was aware of. It’s a time of the year that we reflect on the Supreme Sacrifices that were made by our Brothers and Sisters. A time to stop, reflect and give thanks for the courage in the many faces of danger that our loved ones faced and the empty spaces they have left in their wake as they touched our lives and moved on to be with God. May we all be reunited some day.

The group is doing well…we are expanding our membership and have had more requests for grants. These will be decided on our next Board meeting which will take place on the 26th Of June at our Office.

We also now have merchandise that we are going to offer on-line in exchange for a contribution. They are things like tumblers, pens, caps, and such. We are not going to have a physical fundraiser this year, so we need to generate some type of revenue to continue giving Grants. There is an importance of having the fundraiser though, it does generate recognition, so we are going to put one together for next year.

The idea of forming an Alternate Board has come up. This Board would be something that does need further discussion and planning before it can even be implemented. We do want to this organization to grow and if we allow outside people on an Advisory Board, we can reach other avenues to help our cause. Everything would be taken into consideration and well thought out before it was implemented.

We are doing what we intended to do…we are helping Officers who have been injured. It would be nice to see our organization expand into other States; right now we are just an Illinois organization. We have had inquiries from Texas and from Oklahoma. We will keep everyone informed of any new developments in those areas as well.

This organization is quite different. People get what they need and they kind of move one. That’s what we are here for though, to help in the recovery process and have that injured Officer know that he or she is not alone. We are unique, no doubt about that. We are an organization like no other. We have faced a serious situation in the Line Of Duty and have survived to be here. Be here for our families, maybe to continue being Police Officers, or maybe to quietly accept and give support to our Professional Families. Sometimes, just a hug or a smile coming from someone who has been there and understands something that many people never will…can be the greatest treasure…unconditional support.

Write, Call…Tell Us What You Are Thinking. This Organization Has Been Built On Blood, Tears and Courage, There Is No Other One Like It…and We Are Surviving…12 Years Now…Still Here!

FEBRUARY 2008 Newsletter
Greetings Survivors,

First of all I would like to thank everyone for their patience over the last month, while we made our transition into our new positions. We had our first Official Board meeting on the 11th of February and made some changes that we thought would be beneficial to our members.

Thanks to our Sgt at Arms, Greg Sandlund, we have our website: ThePoliceSurvivors.com up and running with updated information, as well as contact information and links to our supporters. If you have any ideas, please feel free to contact any of the Board members through the website or give us a call.

We also took a closer look at our by-laws and when we formed we actually made four different types of memberships available within our organization. The first type of membership is an “Executive” membership which would be any “Peace Officer” who has been seriously and traumatically injured in the performance of duty, in the State of Illinois. This member would be a lifetime member, with the option to run and have a Board position, after being duly elected. The second type of membership would be any “Peace Officer” with arrest powers recognized by the State of Illinois, who shares and supports the ideas of this organization. We are currently discussing “dues” for this position. The third would be an “Honorary” position, meaning a person could be voted into the organization for a period of 1 year, if they contributed their time or resources to the organization. The final membership would be an “Associate” member, who would also be voted in by the Board for a period of 1 year and this would be a business, organization or civic group that would support and share in the ideas and goals of this organization. We will have further information regarding the development of these memberships.

We voted on and granted 3 different monetary grants to Officers who have been injured. The checks have been delivered and we are hoping for their full recoveries, our prayers are with them and their families.

We decided to put a cap on the grants at this time. As our resources grow, we will discuss raising that cap. At this time, an injured Officer can receive up to $1,250.00 in grant form, for financial assistance as well as equipment upgrades. We still have to meet our financial obligations such as rent, utilities and other incidentals to continue operating the organization.

We have had a number of our members address the new recruits at the Chicago Police Academy.  If you have the time and would be willing to do an Academy visit, please contact Matt Koman our Public Relations Officer at 312-718-5685. We also have an Officer who was seriously injured when he was run over by an offender during an arrest situation. We would like to have 2 Officers visit this Officer in the near future, if you would be willing to do so, please contact Matt.

Okay…we will be having a meeting/get together at Moretti’s Pizza place on Jackson Blvd., just west of Ashland Avenue on the 13th of March at 6:30. We would like to see all members and their families there…it’s been quite awhile. Let’s have a few drinks, some pizza and fun.

Please check the website for updated information and if you would know of anyone who would like to become a member, please tell them what we are about and have them fill out an application.

Stay Safe,
Steven C. Tyler

JANUARY 2008 Newsletter
Greetings Police Survivors,

Welcome to the New Year….I’d like to welcome the new Board, many who have been original founding members of this organization and personally thank the previous Board members, who put in a tremendous amount of work into developing new ideas for this organization over the last few years.

I want to keep this short and expand on a few ideas that I would like to see our organization develop into. First of all, we do have 4 different types of members that can join our organization. I would like to see our membership grow with more involvement from people in the Law Enforcement community as well as public support for our cause.

I would like to see our website offer updated information on a regular basis and I would like to hold monthly meetings with the Board, along with a monthly newsletter distributed to our membership.

We need to work on a fundraiser for later this year, as well as getting the word out to the Law Enforcement community, letting them know we are available to assist them in any way possible.

So, I would like to thank the following Board members for their service, past President Vito Ferro, Bob Mizera, Al Yanagidate, Gina Dwyer, Ruth Wedster, Cedric Brumley, Leo Schmidts, and Mike Lappe.

I would like to welcome the new Board members, Mike Lappe (Founding Member), Cedric Brumley, Sol Karadjias (Founding Member), Al Yanagidate, Kenneth Malkowski, Vito Ferro, Matthew Koman, and Greg Sandlund.

We would like to show our appreciation to the previous Board Members with a meeting that we will have at Moretti’s later in February, an invitation will be sent out to all members with the specific date and time, in February.

To our current members, if you can, please give us your updated contact information on the “Contact” page.

We will be having a Board meeting on the 6th of February 2008, there are a number of Officers who have requested financial assistance, and we would like to approve the funds at that meeting as well as conduct Board business.

If you can assist with any Chicago Police Academy visits, please contact Matt Koman at 312-718-5685. If you are interested in becoming a member, please go to the “Membership Application” page, download an application, fill it out and fax or mail it to us…

Sincerely,
Steven C. Tyler
